Here are several tips how to make sending out of your resume more successful:

1. A resume must not be stereotype, as if written by a robot. Make up something fresh, human and put it in the beginning of your resume. Let the people be surprised, and you will never stay without work.

2. Something that is really attractive and interesting should be placed in the forefront of a resume. And you should point out in the end something that is necessary but does not look well. You’d better indicate language pairs and prices in the very beginning of a resume, right after hello words. It is the most important information that a project manager will look for in the first place. Only after that contact information should be placed.

3. We advice you to place your work experience and references in the very end of a resume. The more detailed the list is, the better. In such a way you will integrate your resume. You can occupy even 3 pages with the list of projects you took part in. It will only bring you an employer’s respect.

4. You shouldn’t send a blank letter with attached Word-format file without explaining in the letter what kind of a file it is. You shouldn’t send out a resume archived by any archiver. An archive looks suspicious, and somebody may have no facilities for unpacking a Rar-format archive.

5. See to it that you indicate all the subjects you work with. Professional translators with encyclopedic knowledge who can really translate every subject are very rare. And probably such a resume without any specialization will only arouse suspicion. If you don’t want a project manager to seek out your best subject himself (and they usually have no time for this), help him/her.
